TBS is excited to announce that the summer program is returning for 2022! Our summer daycare (both full-day and half-day) will provide students with fun indoor and outdoor activities, quiet time (like reading) in the afternoon and lots of time to socialize with friends. In our summer camps, students will experience focused learning on a specific topic for the morning. Students who participate in summer camp are welcome to join daycare at 11:00 a.m. for a half-day of summer daycare. Please see below for more information!

Once registration has closed for the week(s) for which you have registered, cancellations and refunds will be accepted for serious medical reasons only. Requests for refunds MUST be accompanied with documentation from an appropriate health care professional. Registration is NOT transferable to another student or week.

For all day care and camp participants:
  • All participants must be fully independent with toileting skills.  
  • Participants who are ages 3-7 are asked to bring a change of clothes and shoes.
  • All participants should wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for indoor and outdoor play.  
  • Students enrolled in day care (full-day or half-day) should bring a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack.
  • Camp participants will receive an email from the camp instructor prior to camp week with important information, including what campers should wear and what campers should bring each day.
  • All participants are asked to leave toys, money and electronic devices at home.
  • If your child requires medication or has allergy concerns, please provide these details for our Summer Program staff in advance on the registration form. Our Summer Program staff cannot dispense medication to any participant unless a completed Medication Authorization Form is completed and signed.

Mess Makers, PS4-1st grade

Summer has arrived and it's time to get dirty! Join us for a week full of messy art! Finger painting, puddles of glue, water painting outdoors and much more. Let's use our creativity to explore colors, mediums and different materials that enhance all of our senses. This art camp is bound to be full of beautiful fun!
 
The Sports Kids, 1st-4th grade
$150, instructor: Heather Young
Come join Coach Heather and enjoy different sports and cooperative games each day! Sports provide children with an outlet, ability to burn energy and can be a vital part of helping to grow a child's self-confidence. This camp will provide an atmosphere to not only help strengthen muscles and bones, but provide opportunities for character development, expand social circles, create a foundation for a healthy lifestyle and encourage high levels of leadership and sportsmanship.
 
Spartan Space Adventure, 1st-4th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Alex Falkner
Get ready for an out of this world adventure! Through literacy, STEAM, exploration and more, students will learn about the solar system and astronaut life. This hands-on-learning experience is one you don’t want to miss!
 
Frampton Soccer Academy, 6th-8th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Rick Frampton
Ready to up your soccer game? Join Coach Frampton to learn basic soccer skills, practice contact movements with teammates and play fun soccer games!

Outdoor Adventures, PS4-1st grade (WAITLIST)
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Rebecca Thomas
It's time for summer fun! Let's spend each day going on an outdoor adventure! We will visit the Willowbrook Arboretum tree house, Graham Recreational Park, the Alamance Partnership for Children's Outdoor Learning Environment and even explore the TBS campus with fun outdoor games and activities. Join us for a fun-filled, gross motor experience bound to excite and educate!
 
Frampton Soccer Academy, K-2nd grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Rick Frampton
Ready to up your soccer game? Join Coach Frampton to learn basic soccer skills, practice contact movements with teammates and play fun soccer games!  
 
Dancing Through the Decades, 1st-4th grade
$150, instructor: Alex Falkner
Dance your way from the 1920’s to now! Students will learn about each decade through dancing, literacy, STEM and arts and crafts. 
 
Money, Money, Money!  8th-12th grade
$150, instructor: Carter Gerlach
Get ready to learn about being in charge of your own finances! Students in this financial literacy camp will learn about making personal financial decisions, budgeting, living away from home, banking services, credit, loans, consumer awareness and the influence of advertising. It will give students a great start to understanding the world of finance before heading off to college.
 
June 27-July 1
Princess Prep, PS3-4th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Megan Butler
Children are welcome to join a princess-themed camp where they will learn all about some of their favorite princesses! Not only will they create themed crafts and play themed games, they will also learn how to move, dance, behave and dress like a princess. At the end of the camp, participants will experience a coronation ceremony led by an official princess honoring all they learned and created!

Math Made Easy, 6th-8th grade
$150, instructor: Carter Gerlach
Come learn how math is made EASY using a graphing calculator. We will go beyond basic computation. Students will be introduced to the nuances of graphing a line and will get hands-on practice using a graphing calculator. We’ll practice applying this skill to algebraic concepts and real-world challenges. This is a great opportunity to prepare for or strengthen middle school math concepts using technology as a helpful tool!
 
July 11-15
Dinosaur Quest, K-4th grade
$150, instructor: Alex Falkner
Through literacy, art, music and STEM, students will travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. They will learn about life as a dinosaur, complete a secret dinosaur quest and become paleontologists. Get ready to ROAR!
 
Kids on the Move, 1st-4th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Abby Shoe
Kids on the Move teaches lessons and growth opportunities through the discussion of healthy lifestyle choices, such as the importance of exercise, mental health, social emotional health and nutritional health. Throughout the week, students will be introduced to various sports and types of exercises that are developmentally appropriate for kids ages 5-10. We will also be making crafts and emotional support tools, such as stress balls, to give students resources for coping with their emotions. This week’s experiences will build a foundation for developing a healthy lifestyle for years to come.
 
Nature Art, PS3-K (CLOSED)
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Martha Barefoot-Yeager
Come play outside and create art! We will use things found in nature to make things of our own and explore using chalk and other supplies to decorate outside, too. Combine creativity and outside play to stretch your body and your brain!

Crafty Kids, 1st-4th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Abby Shoe
Crafty Kids opens the world of creativity where students are given the opportunity to explore art through a new and fun lens! Students will add to their mini-portfolio through the creation of many masterpieces through various forms of art, including ceramics, painting, oil pastels, mixed media and more!

Welcome to PS3!, PS3 
$150, instructor: Allison Edwards
We are excited to welcome all of our youngest students to TBS! This camp will give your child a chance to get to know their new school environment and build friendships with their classmates.  We will have fun playing games, completing art activities, reading stories, dancing and much more.  Join us to get acclimated to the TBS experience before the new school year begins!
 
Glass Slipper STEM, 1st-4th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Alex Falkner
Come along on a journey where fairy tales come to life! Help your favorite characters overcome obstacles. Students will participate in STEM, arts and crafts, music and movement and more!
 
Spy Camp, 2nd-4th grade
$170 (includes supply fee), instructor: Jessica Furr
Join us on a special mission to learn what it takes to be a super-secret spy. In spy camp, children will have a blast as they go on covert missions to crack secret codes and solve mysteries. They will also learn about some famous spies in history and recreate certain tools and items they may have used on their journeys. This will be a fun and engaging week filled with adventure!
