While we were hoping to host camps this summer, we feel that we will be unable to do so this year. Thank you to those who registered for camps and summer care. We hope to have these programs return next summer.
What are the age ranges for camps/summer care?
To participate in camps, students must be entering the specified grade for the 2020-21 school year.
TBS summer care is open to campers that are three before the starting date of camp. All students must be fully potty trained and have an extra change of clothes in case an incident occurs. Students should be able to use the restroom with a minimal amount of assistance.
What is the camp/summer care schedule?
TBS summer camps will provide both half and full-day options for students!
The half-day schedule will offer a camp from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The full-day schedule will offer a camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Summer care ($150 per week) will be offered from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A $1.00 late fee each minute after the allowed time.

What clothes or equipment should students bring?
All students should come dressed appropriately for the camp they are attending.
Instructors will inform students on appropriate clothing for the week. Athletic camps will be required to have closed-toe shoes. Students that are in preschool and kindergarten are asked to bring a change of clothes and shoes.
What should students leave at home?
• Trading cards
• Electronic devices (unless instructed otherwise)
• Valuable items
Do students need to pack their own lunches?
Yes, all students MUST pack a lunch, snack and a water bottle. If students plan to attend summer care, they will need to have enough snacks for both a morning and afternoon snack.
What if my child requires medication?
If your child requires medication, or has allergy concerns, please provide these details in advance on TBS Summer Health Form so we can inform the instructors involved in your child's camp.
Camp staff cannot dispense medication to any student unless parents bring their child's medication forms and we have written approval from the parents or guardian.
How do I sign my child in and out of camp/summer care?
Students must be signed in and signed out by a parent or legal guardian that is listed on the child’s registration form. If there is an individual not listed on the registration form, then the parent or legal guardian will need to provide a written note or send an email to the instructor.
When do I need to pay for camp/summer care?
Full fees are due on the Monday one week prior to the start of camp. Payments can be dropped at the main Lower/Middle School Office, paid online or be mailed to 1615 Greenwood Terrace / Burlington, N.C. 27215.
