From creative arts and hands-on science to athletics, adventure, and academic prep, The Burlington School’s Summer Camps offer something for every student. Each week is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and keep students engaged through meaningful, fun, and age-appropriate experiences led by our dedicated faculty and staff. Whether your child is discovering new interests or strengthening familiar skills, summer at TBS is a place to learn, explore, and grow. Grade levels listed for each camp are based on a student’s rising grade for the upcoming school year. For example, a camp listed for Grade 1 is intended for students entering first grade in the fall.

Disclaimer: Camp registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a camp reaches capacity, families may request to be placed on a waitlist if space becomes available. Once registration has closed for the selected week(s), cancellations and refunds are only a for serious medical reasons and must be accompanied by documentation from a qualified healthcare professional.     Come along as your campers take part in a variety of age-appropriate “Olympic-style” games. The focus is on participation, trying new movements, and celebrating effort. Through these active " olympic" games, children will develop gross motor skills, balance, coordination and body awareness. The camp also supports social and emotional growth as kids practice teamwork, turn-taking, following directions, and encouraging one another. Campers build confidence, resilience, and a positive connection to movement all while having tons of summer fun!

Using thousands of Lego bricks, campers will bring these themes to life through individual builds and giant group landscapes. In this one week adventure, we will choose as a group items to replicate as we not only bake a delicious tasting cakes/cupcakes, but learn to make them as realistic as possible. At the conclusion, we will have a panel of judges to ask, Is it Cake? At the end, a winning group will walk away victorious.

    In Harry Potter Camp we will play Quidditch, be sorted into houses, test our knowledge of the Harry Potter books and movies, & more! If you have not read all of the Harry Potter books, this is not an issue at all! We will have fun learning about the stories together, engaging in potions classes, and studying herbology.

    Step into the world of the small and the many-legged! Bug Hunters is a hands-on exploration of the incredible insects living right in our school’s backyard. We will spend our days tracking down local "celebrity" bugs, building temporary habitats to observe them up close, and creating insect-inspired masterpieces. Campers will use magnifying glasses to study everything from hardworking ants to beautiful butterflies, then use those observations to craft 3D bug models, colorful wing paintings, and detailed nature rubbings. It is a week of outdoor adventure, creative art projects, and discovering the hidden world beneath our feet!

    This week, campers will be sent on a special mission to discover what it takes to be a super-secret spy! In Spy Camp, children will go on exciting covert missions to crack secret codes, solve mysteries, and complete spy challenges. It’s an action-packed week full of adventure, creativity, and undercover fun!

Spend your days "living" in your creation and making the rules of your new cardboard kingdom. It’s the ultimate mashup of building, teamwork, and total imagination.

    This summer camp is  designed for current AP History students, future AP students, and any student who wants to strengthen their writing skills and confidence. Through engaging mini-lessons and hands-on practice, students will learn the foundations of strong analytical writing by developing clear, defensible thesis statements, learn how to select and use effective supporting evidence, and craft thoughtful synthesis that connects ideas across texts and contexts. These skills are essential for success in AP history courses and beyond. Anyone can write! Some students just need a recipe! 

    In addition to analytical writing, students will explore narrative writing, with a focus on techniques that translate directly to strong college application essays.
