Mrs. O’Day holds B.A. degrees in Communications and in Spanish from Salem College and has over 14 years of experience in the classroom. She holds a K-12 certification from North Carolina and has taught the entire range of grade levels.
Mrs. O’Day loves to share the Spanish language and culture with her students, in the classroom and through travel. Also The Burlington School's yearbook adviser, Mrs. O'Day is often seen with a camera. She enjoys teaching students photography, journalism and graphic design, all the while creating a book of memories for the year.
Mrs. O'Day has two sons, Brantley and Henry, who also attend The Burlington School. In her free time Mrs. O'Day is also a cub scout leader and enjoys camping and exploring nature with her family. A voracious reader, Mrs. O'Day would LOVE to give you a book recommendation!
