As an independent school, The Burlington School relies on support to provide the financial resources required to run the school; tuition alone does not cover its operating costs. The monies to cover this “gap” between operating costs and tuition revenues are primarily generated from earnings on our “savings account” (otherwise known as the endowment), and our major fundraising projects: our annual Dinner & Auction, our Holiday Event, and the Annual Fund. An independent school calls for support from all constituents - and the hope is that all of our families will be engaged in supporting the school financially.
The gift of volunteer hours is always needed and much appreciated. Parents, alumni and friends of the school are invited to volunteer at the classroom level or in the school's Parent Association.
