One of the benefits of the new Upper School space at TBS is the ability to host arts performances on campus. The school will be able to show off that ability this weekend as TBS proudly presents Peter/Wendy.
Show times are set for 7 p.m. on both Friday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 3. The show will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4. Ticket for all three shows are still available for $10 each and can be purchased by visiting brownpapertickets.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the door with cash or check. We will be unable to accept credit card payments at that time.
The cast is made up of approximately 30 students ranging from fifth grade through 12th grade.
The new performance space has seen lighting installed and will provide an intimate atmosphere for the audience. In the future, the space will also host choral and rock ensemble concerts.
In this lyrical, atmospheric interpretation of Peter Pan, Jeremy Bloom strips the familiar story down to its emotional essence. Peter lures Wendy away from her nursery to the magical world of Neverland, where she joins his adventures with Tinker Bell, Tiger Lily and the menacing Captain Hook. An inventive adaptation that pay homage to the darker themes of J.M. Barrie's original novels, Peter and Wendy and The Little White Bird, Peter/Wendy will mesmerize audiences.
