Burlington, NC - TBS is excited to announce the hiring of Ashley Springer as our new Community Life Facilitator and School Counselor.
Mrs. Springer graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Health and Life Sciences. She was a scholarship basketball player for four years while at Lafayette. After graduation, Springer received her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, New Jersey.
After graduating in 2015, Mrs. Springer worked for an intermediate school in Wisconsin as a guidance counselor and she had the opportunity to teach summer school for all grade levels and work with students with special needs. Our Academic Dean, Dr. Sabin stated, “Ashley was the top candidate from a large candidate pool - demonstrating clear passion and knowledge in school counseling. Her supports in working with Advisory, Service Learning, and individual student needs will be a huge help to the whole TBS community.”
When asked about her excitement to join TBS, Springer stated, “I am delighted about starting at TBS so I can get to know the students and faculty in order to help in any way possible. I am thrilled to be part of the TBS community and join the positive atmosphere.
Mrs. Springer joins the TBS community with her husband, Sean, and their daughter Madison (1).
