Friday's icy weather has resulted in power outages all over the county. Unfortunately, the Greenwood Terrace campus remains without power as of 2:00 today. We do not anticipate that we will have power on Monday morning.
But not to worry! The Davis Street campus' power has been constant and school will go on! Please bring all students in all grades to the Davis Street campus on Monday morning for classes.
Students may be dropped off as early as 7:20 am - the gymnasium will be open for early care. Be sure your students have their book bags, and please pack them a lunch.
Classes will be held on both the Davis Street campus as well as at First Presbyterian Church just across the street. We'd like to thank the church for their gracious and generous accommodation and welcome to our students and faculty.
Should the power be restored at the Greenwood Terrace campus later this evening or during the day on Monday, we may choose to shuttle students back to their home campus by bus, and parents will be notified accordingly. Given what we know at the moment and for planning purposes, we're doing school at Davis Street Monday and for the next few days.
Please plan to drop off and pick up your students from the Davis Street Campus! (We've promised to be good guests not to mess up First Presbyterian's daily programs, so we'll parade over to the church's classrooms shortly after 8 am.) Extended care will still be available, and will be held at Davis Street as well. The phone number at the Davis Street campus is 336.395.8550. See you at school tomorrow!
