The library at each campus serves as a hub for educational endeavors of all kinds. In addition to the catalog of books with over 13,000 titles, the libraries on both campuses serve as quiet places for study, exploration, discovery and contemplation. Additionally, the Maude Sharpe Powell Library on the Greenwood Terrace campus serves as a media center with 20 computers. Programs like independent reading, buddy reading for partnered grade levels, and Battle of the Books, as well as open check out throughout the day, make both libraries centers of learning for students across the grades.
The Barnes and Noble Bookfair is an annual opportunity for TBS students to display their talents, and for TBS community members to use book purchases to supplement teacher curriculum and TBS funding. In the days leading up to this special night, we encourage you to make your purchases online at bn.com/bookfairs – 10% of your purchase goes to The Burlington School. We look forward to seeing you at the bookfair!
