Our campers have been off to a racing start of summer fun! We've had students hike trails while searching for Pokemon, run basketball drills until they can execute them with skills, and get dirty and creative with fun science and art projects!
Today in "Got Science?" camp, our preschool Spartans made volcanoes! They had so much fun, and it is so easy to recreate at home.
You will need:
a cup filled 2/3 of the way with water
3-6 tablespoons of baking soda
1 tablespoon of dish soap
4-5 drops of food coloring
1 cup of vinegar
To complete the experiment, add the baking soda, food coloring, and dish soap to the 2/3 full cup of water. When you're ready, stand back and pour in the vinegar to create the volcanic rush of fizz!
